NEW Opportunity at James Campbell NWR

Seabird Flats Coastal Restoration

Are you interested in volunteering with the Friends of Oahu National Wildlife Refuges at James Campbell NWR (JCNWR). The Friends Of Team is working with the refuge to restore coastal seabird habitat and we appreciate your help! JCNWR is home to 5 native seabird species: mōlī (Laysan albatross), ka’upu (black-footed albatross), ‘ua‘u kani (wedge-tailed shearwater), nunulu (Bonin petrel), and ʻakihikeʻehiʻale (Tristram’s storm-petrel). Join us for a volunteer day to help remove invasive plant species to improve nesting habitat for these special birds. Click the link below for dates, times and to sign up.
